Yep—I agree.

Aside from a few, all these photos were taken from our first day (fresh off the plane) exploring the Eternal City. There is something about Rome that just can't be put into words—so I'm not going to try—but what an amazing first impression, don't you think?

    Yes! I've never quite been able to vocalize what exactly there is about Rome as well. But your photos have totally captured its charm (and is now filling me up with the best nostalgia for the city)!

    ...ANDDDDDD by fresh off the plane I mean "had about a two-hour wait in the sun/commute on the bus to our flat, then bird-bathed/reapplied essentials (mainly to get the strangers sweat off me from being on the bus), then had a leisurely lunch, because, well, bitches be hangry" and then off to explore the city! Voila! easy peasy!
