Our time with the Carpenters in London was FILLED with new adventures, but due to James' work schedule, it was typically just Mike, Lisa and me exploring during the day and then we would meet up with James for dinner at night.
It's not every day you celebrate your 31st 21st birthday in London, (ahem, Happy Birthday Miss Lisa!), so in honor of Lisa's birthday, the Carpenters decided to live it up! Like literally... up in the air... Hello? Are you following me??
BY FAR one of the most exciting things we did together as a foursome was the London Eye Experience. James and I were lucky enough to be invited to go on the ride and even though good ol' London tried to rain on our parade—or party, for that matter—we still had a lovely time chatting, sipping champagne, taking pictures and enjoying the unique view of our favorite city.
Overall, the ride is pretty quick! Slightly less than 30 minutes, and you best not be lollygagging when stepping into the capsule because the wheel is constantly moving (at a much faster pace than you would imagine) and you will get left! We participated in the Champagne Experience, which included one glass of champagne. It was definitely a nice touch to the ride, but probably unnecessary if you're not actually celebrating something special.
I am glad that James and I held off on the London Eye because even though we could have done it by ourselves at any point, it was so much more exciting to experience it with friends. It is something that we will share forever and the memories will last a lifetime!

Lisa, I hope 31 is your best year yet! We love you both! xx
The london eye is something I've always wanted to do! I had no clue you could do a champagne package!! Happy Birthday to your friend!!!!!!!!!
